Abstract Landscape The paintings are set up with collage, using lines found in dress patterns as collage. This give the pieces an architectural look, creating city scapes in seemingly mythical lands. They were painted with acrylic paint, layer upon layer, scraping back into the paint to reveal the collage.


Dresses This whimsical series uses collage to create texture. Gestural marks are used to create the rhythms and the folds of the dresses. While there is no human form represented, thisapproach gives the appearance of the dresses dancing and moving on their own.






Series of Vessels The vessel has long been associated with the female form. One of the definitions of the word is a hollow utensil, but it can also be something used to navigate water, or it can be a canal, i.e. blood vessel. With this in mind, a series was created using various vessels, representing the human body, with layer upon layer to discover.
